The Problem With Internet Marketing...

Have you ever felt like quitting,
you know just walking away from
something because it's not working
and it's just causing you problem
after problem, stress... and worse
still... it's costing you money and/
or isn't making you anything?

--->> http://clicks.aweber.com/y/ct/?l=G4lg.&m=3ku.A1jsQ7Iw7Nx&b=PV89dOU6eKr5VRX2b2tHgg

I have... and I'm sure you have too.
Now, here's the thing...

Anything worth having in life will
NOT come to you overnight. The get
rich quick scheme doesn't exist -
trust me - I've looked for it!

So what am I saying here?

Well, in my usual convoluted way,
I'm saying that you need to put
some work in... if you REALLY want
to achieve your goals... and only
AFTER you have put this work in will
you be rewarded.

--->> http://clicks.aweber.com/y/ct/?l=G4lg.&m=3ku.A1jsQ7Iw7Nx&b=PV89dOU6eKr5VRX2b2tHgg

Here's the thing...

It took me about 8-9 months to
really crack the Internet Marketing
"puzzle" and as soon as I did I
started making a part time income EVERY month,
and then within a 1 1/2 years I started earning
Full time income needless to say life became pretty
fantastic for me as a result...

BUT during those first 1 1/2 years Icould so
easily have quit many many times.

In fact, when I first started marketing
on the internet I really didn't know
what I was doing, but I saw the
potential. I tried things, I
worked at many things... and I
MADE things work. They didn't
always work when I first started,
but they WILL if you get the
basics right... and for me the
basics are the following:

1.) Is there a problem that YOU
can solve in this market?

2.) Is the market competitive? I
ALWAYS look for competitive markets,
because to me this indicates profit
to be made!! Some people shy away
from competition, but I just think
if they can make it work, then so
can I...

3.) Can I provide something different,
something unique to this market?
These are what I like to call the
fundamentals.

I am sure you are thinking,"Yeah sure
easier said than done." So because of
this I am encouraging you to get
Dean Hollands IM Personalized Coaching WSO as
he teaches you over 28 days to go from
earning nothing to very little income online
all the way to make a consistent income each
and EVERY month!

--->> http://clicks.aweber.com/y/ct/?l=G4lg.&m=3ku.A1jsQ7Iw7Nx&b=PV89dOU6eKr5VRX2b2tHgg

Dean Holland is verified million dollar earner
and he is going to essentially take you by
the hand and walk you through what you need
to be doing step by step.

Because of this I would encourage those
who purchase this to NOT BUY ANYTHING
internet marketing related and follow
his advice and make sure to ask questions
so that you can fully understand and implement
his money making system.

As this will allow YOU to focus on the job
of building your business using one of
the most sophisticated marketing systems that
has ever been put together.

Also I am already getting some emails from those
who purchased AffilioBlueprint the product
I recommended yesterday and they are LOVING IT.

I just had to mention that because I got quite a
few emails thanking me for recommending it yesterday
so needless to say if you don't like this make sure
to check that offer out again.

Either way make sure to STAY FOCUSED and TAKE ACTION
and you are going to be well on your way to making
a consistent income online.

Sincerely,

Tim Nesbitt (The Real Underground Affiliate)

Game of Thrones and Internet Marketing Power Struggles

Hi Mike

This is just a polite reminder, you signed up to my e-mail list
on one of my sites. If you no longer want to be on the list,
please remove your mailing address from the list.

I will be sorry to see you go but understand that circumstances
change. Di (link below)
http://www.aweber.com/z/r/?LOwMbJyctMxsHEwc7KzMtEa0jCyszCwc7Kw=

----------------------------------------------------

(Note: More information on Game of Thrones can be found in the Wikipedia entry).

Have you been tuning into Game of Thrones?
It's based on the "A Song of Ice and Fire" novels and is a "medieval fantasy"
set in the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros whereby seven families battle it out
for control of the Iron Throne.

Or, from what I've seen, it's all about "swords and shagging".

Even though it's set in a make-believe time several hundred years ago, the fantasy
world had more than a few similarities to the world of Internet Marketing.

For example:
===================

Who's Side Are You On?

===================
In Westeros, you have seven families, or dynasties, struggling for power and control.

It's the same when you do battle on the Internet...

You have the Gurus sitting comfortably on the Throne, wielding their power
and disseminating wisdom, usually in their costly training courses.

Quite often it is the same message said in a
different language - video, PDF, Teleseminar - anything from $997 to $2,000 a throw.

Then below them you have other groups all vying for power with the hope of
one day dethroning the gurus...

Like the Clickbank marketers pumping out "push button" and "one click" solutions
on a weekly basis, all professing to dump millions of dollars into your bank
account for doing very little work in return.

In direct opposition to them are the Ethical Marketers, who release their own
products and training but usually without the hype and fanfare of the Clickbank marketers.
However, as with every good power struggle, everything is not always black-and-white...

While the ethical marketers publicly denounce the Clickbank marketers, some
have been known to "switch sides" on occasions and promote such poor products
as they also eye a fat commission cheque. Then, stuck in the middle of all
this chaos are the newbies. While their army has numbers they don't have the
knowledge or power to take on the other groups.

During the heat of battle, some may be fortunate and elevate themselves into
one of the other groups. But most will fall dead by the wayside. Even more
confused and a lot poorer for their efforts.

Okay, that's only four "families" rather than the seven in Game of Thrones,
but you get the gist.
==========

Incest Is Rife

==========
The show also has other similarities to Internet marketing such as the Queen
embarking on a sexual relationship with her brother (this is a tradition in
one family).

Yes, the IM industry does often feel incestuous at times.

The same group of marketers always jumping on each other's product launches,
promoting whatever it is with little regard for their poor subscribers.

If you watch the list of testimonials for new products, or even the pictures of
the people - they are the same every time. It is an unholy alliance of back rubbing.

Or two marketers having a public spat and then promoting the other's product with "my good
buddy" type email marketing.

It's a relationship only a pair of siblings "too close" to each other could enjoy.

Look for clean time limited statements on the internet such as

"When you join GetCashForSurveys today, you will receive $50 free
when you take your first paid survey!" http://clicks.aweber.com/y/ct/?l=IDy6q&m=JE.odu7BFD4Oyn&b=zh2Jnn0cwUJHAf.SqfdGYQ
==================

Reciprocity Equals Debt

==================
And finally, what about Sean Bean's character of an ageing warrior reluctantly
going back to war to fight for the King, played by Mark Addy?

Feeling indebted to somebody else seems par for the course in Internet Marketing
and you will often find yourself in situations you don't feel comfortable with.

In the Virtual business I can give a personal example of this. I had a couple of
problematical clients who wanted the cheapest not the best. Both have fallen into the
cheap and have been left in a hole hole and want me to get them out.
As soon as I mentioned that I would charge as this was nothing to do with me -
they were horrified that I would not do this for nothing for old times sake...

Perhaps a client did you a favour and now expects you to do something for them in return,
even though you know what they want is not quite 'right' businesswise and you could get
the kickback? Do you go through with it out of duty or do you stand up for what you
believe in and tackle the repercussions head on?

You need money to live on - instead of arguing and feeling guilty you could make $20
in as little as 8 minutes! Imagine doing this 5 or 6 times a day.
http://clicks.aweber.com/y/ct/?l=IDy6q&m=JE.odu7BFD4Oyn&b=zh2Jnn0cwUJHAf.SqfdGYQ

You see, Internet and Marketing may appear all nice and fluffy on the surface, with everybody
claiming to "help" everybody else succeed...

But in reality, it is more akin to a medieval battlefield...
Choose your side carefully.

As I have semi retired and like the ability to earn money quickly as and when
I want I have chosen my 'family' to hang my pennant on. I am happy to do surveys
and other marketing work sent to me, during the heat of the day or when I need
to be at 'home' while I can do my garden in the morning or evening.
If you want an uncomplicated way of working this could be for you and is an
ideal part time job or something to do while the children are at school.

Funnily enough, more and more surveys are done during recessions as those who
get their marketing right win in a poor econimic situation while those who carry
on fighting in the old ways go to the wall.

Singer Pete Doherty's film debut dubbed a "crime"

By Mike Collett-White and Cindy Martin
CANNES, France | Tue May 22, 2012 11:51am EDT
(Reuters) - "Don't give up the day job" was the critics' blunt message to British rocker Pete Doherty, whose debut film role in 19th century love story "Confession of a Child of the Century" has had its premiere at the Cannes festival.

Based on an autobiographical novel by Alfred de Musset about his affair with writer George Sand, Doherty's casting in the lead role makes plenty of sense.

The character he plays is a Parisian libertine living the wild life, mirroring the Babyshambles and Libertines frontman's own history of alcohol and drug abuse.

In Britain he was a frequent fixture on the tabloid front pages due to his run-ins with the law and on-off relationship with supermodel Kate Moss.

French director Sylvie Verheyde had those similarities in mind when she cast Doherty in the English-language period drama, in which he stars alongside French actress Charlotte Gainsbourg.

"He (Doherty) was the figure of the poet now, like Musset was a figure of a romantic poet at this time," she told Reuters in an interview. "Just like Musset, he has this share of innocence and debauchery."

Doherty, whose character Octave is a disaffected, world-weary dandy wearing top hat, tails and a cane, said he had no hesitation in accepting the role.

"I couldn't not do it, really," he told Reuters in Cannes.

"Things come along in your life, where it's a certain melody, or a certain person and you can't not be involved because you regret it and you'll be sorry and you'd be really jealous if someone else does it."

Most critics in Cannes, where the film screened in the "Un Certain Regard" section for up-and-coming directors, did not spare the 33-year-old's feelings.

"Based on his debut performance ... the Libertines and Babyshambles singer shouldn't even think of giving up his day job," wrote Megan Lehmann in the Hollywood Reporter trade magazine, apportioning some of the blame to the director.

Baz Bamigboye, writing in the Daily Mail newspaper, opined: "Pete Doherty was collared for possessing ... cocaine ... now he has been done at the Cannes Film Festival for not being in possession of any acting talent."

Boyd van Hoeij from Hollywood publication Variety, was particularly scathing about scenes shared by Doherty and Gainsbourg.

"Charlotte Gainsbourg ... and ... Peter Doherty, making an inauspicious acting debut, have all the chemistry of two frozen fish filets, with line readings to match."

But Geoffrey Macnab of the Independent newspaper did not agree in his three-out-of-five star review.

"In essence, then, Doherty ... is playing a 19th century version of himself -- and he does it very well. He is understated, sardonic but has a vulnerability that stops him from seeming (too) obnoxious.

"The problems with an uneven film are not of his making."

Pete was speaking in Cannes where he is promoting his first film, Confession of a Child of the Century

She's been married for nearly a year but Kate Moss keeps contacting her ex-love. And, yes, its THAT one.

Pete Doherty says the supermodel still rings him five years after they split.

And, just to make matters even worse, singer-turned-actor Pete claims that Kate, 38, drunk calls him.

Which, as we all know, means only one thing.

Like admitting I bumped into my ex outside his house again... drunk dialling usually means you just cannot wash a certain someone outta your hair.

And thats a lovely irony because Pete, 33, cant seem to wash his hair at all.

Pete and his greasy locks are in Cannes where he is promoting his first film, Confession of a Child of the Century.

Speaking about their romance, heated arguments and Kates love of drunk calling, he says: She was just a girl that I met that I really, really liked.

"The reason that it didnt work was because of all the other things.

It really annoyed me that people in my life couldnt accept it in their heads that I was with her.

"People in her life didnt want her to have anything to do with me.

Every time wed have an argument shed say All my friends are right about you.

Now married: Kate with hubby Jamie Hince
Getty
"I think you know what, in a different world maybe we could... Its sad. But its the same thing. Its all in her court.

"She wants to get drunk and call me and talk s***. Thats fine but I wouldnt be able to do that to her. Anyway, shes married.

Ive listened to her [on voicemail]. A couple of times shes got drunk and called me and been a bit silly.

"But shes a happily married woman, why does she want to speak to me?

Maybe shes still in love with me... No, shes not. She hates my guts anyway. Right...

After she ended the relationship, Mossy met The Kills frontman Jamie Hince, 43, and the couple married in Gloucestershire last summer.

Speaking after traipsing up the sodden red carpet in a trilby and brogues, and swigging from a hipflask of whisky, former Libertines singer Pete admitted he later got so drunk he couldnt find his hotel room.

Instead, the star, jailed in 2008 after a string of drug and motoring offences, woke the next morning in the corridor of a Best Western hotel.

After meeting Mossy at her 31st birthday bash in 2005, the couple shared a turbulent relationship for two-and-a-half years.

The supposedly reformed junkie rocker was with Kate when she was filmed doing cocaine and was blamed for encouraging her wild lifestyle.

A spokesman for Kate could not be reached.

Reaching to Asia

Marine and sailors with Colt machine gun, Boxer Rebellion, 1900

The United States could not ignore the largest continent on earth forever. SinceCOMMODORE MATTHEW PERRY "opened" Japan in 1854, trade with Asia was a reality, earning millions for American merchants and manufacturers. Slowly but surely the United States acquired holdings in the region, making the ties even stronger. Already Alaska, Hawaii, and American Samoa flew the American flag. The Spanish-American War brought Guam and the Philippines as well. These territories needed supply routes and defense, so ports of trade and naval bases became crucial.

Open Door Policy

The most populous nation on earth was already divided between encroaching European empires. China still had an emperor and system of government, but the foreign powers were truly in control. Although the Chinese Empire was not carved into colonies such as Africa, Europe did establish quasi-colonial entities called SPHERES OF INFLUENCEafter 1894. Those enjoying special privileges in this fashion included Great Britain, France, Russia, Germany, and Japan. Secretary of State John Hay feared that if these nations established trade practices that excluded other nations, American trade would suffer. Britain agreed and Hay devised a strategy to preserve open trade. He circulated letters among all the powers called OPEN DOOR NOTES, requesting that all nations agree to free trade in China. While Britain agreed, all the other powers declined in private responses. Hay, however, lied to the world and declared that all had accepted. The imperial powers, faced with having to admit publicly to greedy designs in China, remained silent and the Open Door went into effect.

The Boxer Rebellion

In 1900, foreign occupation of China resulted in disaster. A group of Chinese nationalists called the FISTS OF RIGHTEOUS HARMONY attacked Western property. The BOXERS, as they were known in the West, continued to wreak havoc until a multinational force invaded to stop the uprising. The BOXER REBELLION marked the first time United States armed forces invaded another continent without aiming to acquire the territory. The rebels were subdued, and China was forced to pay an indemnity of $330 million to the United States.

Nobel Peace Prize for Roosevelt

Japan was also a concern for the new imperial America. In 1904, war broke out between RUSSIA AND JAPAN. The war was going poorly for the Russians. Theodore Roosevelt offered to mediate the peace process as the war dragged on. The two sides met with Roosevelt in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, and before long, a treaty was arranged. Despite agreeing to its terms, the Japanese public felt that Japan should have been awarded more concessions. Anti-American rioting swept the island. Meanwhile, Roosevelt was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts. This marked the first time an American President received such an offer.

Relations with Japan remained icy. In California, JAPANESE IMMIGRANTS to America were faced with harsh discrimination, including segregated schooling. In the informal GENTLEMAN'S AGREEMENT OF 1907, the United States agreed to end the practice of separate schooling in exchange for a promise to end Japanese immigration. That same year, Roosevelt decided to display his "big stick," the new American navy. He sent the flotilla, known around the world as the GREAT WHITE FLEET, on a worldwide tour. Although it was meant to intimidate potential aggressors, particularly Japan, the results of the journey were uncertain. Finally, in 1908, Japan and the United States agreed to respect each other's holdings on the Pacific Rim in the ROOT-TAKAHIRA AGREEMENT. Sending troops overseas, mediating international conflicts, and risking trouble to maintain free trade, the United States began to rapidly shed itsISOLATIONIST past.

Parking Brake Repair Basics for Automatic Transmission

by DoItYourself Staff

Comments

Although many car owners are good about getting the brakes in the car inspected and having routine maintenance performed, many people overlookparking brake repair as part of their maintenance regime. However, parking brakes are crucial part of your car's brake system and  should never be overlooked. So, this article will address some of the most important aspects of parking brake repair and how to correct common problems.

Keep the Parking Brake System Lubricated

Many parking brake problems can be corrected (and prevented) by lubricating the parking brake system. Sometimes, parking brakes are hard to engage or stick because the moving parts in the system lack proper lubrication. Generally speaking, a can of WD-40, or another silicone based lubricant, does an excellent job of lubricating your car's parking brake system.

If you are experiencing problems with the parking brakes on your vehicle sticking, pull out a can of WD-40 and spray lubricant on the sliding mechanisms or the actuator levers of the parking brake. In most cases, the actuator levers are found on your car's rear brake calipers. So, you will have to remove the tire and wheel to get to them. In extreme cases of neglect, you may have to remove the rear brakes to get to the problem area.

Make Adjustments Frequently

Generally speaking, a parking brake system consists of a series of pulleys and cables. Over time, cables can begin to stretch or wear out. Many times, simply removing the slack in parking brake cables can correct the problem. Most vehicles have a cable tightening mechanism that is used to relieve the slack in the cables and is usually fairly easy to use.

You should refer to your car owner's manual for directions or instructions on how to make adjustments to your car's parking brake system. In the unlikely event that no information is contained in the car owner's manual, you can easily find information for adjusting your car's parking brake online. Simply use your favorite search engine to find parking brake information on the make and model of your vehicle.

Watch Out for Snapped Parking Brake Lines

In most cases where a parking brake fails completely, the culprit is usually a broken or snapped parking brake cable. Replacing a broken parking brake cable is very easy, and makes a excellent DIY project for even the most mechanically challenged.

Changing out a broken cable usually only involves jacking up the vehicle, tracing the cable back to the car's brake calipers, removing the broken cable and replacing it with a new one. For popular vehicles, you can usually find a replacement parking brake cable at your favorite auto parts store. However, if you're not able to locate one there, you can always visit a car dealership that sells your particular model vehicle and order one from the part's department.

Get the Electric Parking Brakes Inspected at the Dealership

Some the newer vehicles come equipped with electric parking brakes. Electric parking brakes work basically in the same manner as those that use cables. However, electric parking brake employ an electric motor system instead of a lever that is pushed with your foot or pulled with your hand. Problems with electric parking brakes will usually require a visit to your local authorized car dealership because sophisticated diagnostic tools may be needed to find the problem.

David Clarke, please take the stand and offer up some scoop! "It's unbelievable what [Mike Kelley] has done in the final episode. You will not be disappointed," James Tupper teases. "There are so many freakin' surprises, and some people get capped! Some people are gone!" Gulp!

Faye: You promised some Nate scoop in last night's Gossip Girl Redux, so spill!
Our boy is still on the hunt for love now that his girl Lola has left the Upper East Sidefor good. "Ella Rae got a pilot for NBC, so we're very excited for her, but sad for ourselves as it seems like she won't be available to do the show next year," executive producer Stephanie Savage tells us. Fortunately, another girl will be occupying Nate's precious time: Gossip Girl! Of receiving video of the infamous blogger in action, Savage teases that Nate will be on the hunt to find out their identity. "It' definitely going to be something that Nate is going to seize on and be tracking down," she explains. "We thought he had pretty good detective skills this year, so we're going to keep using them!" Nate Archibald, P.I.? We smell spinoff!

Monica: The Smash finale was crazy! Is Ivy gone for good?
Not even a little bit! We talked with Megan Hilty yesterday at the NBC upfront and she assured us she will be back in season two, and is lobbying for Ivy to get a new boyfriend. Perhaps someone who doesn't work in show business?

Christine: You guys are doing a great job on all the upfronts coverage. Keep it up!
Thanks, Mom! Your belated Mother's Day gift is on its way!

MORE: Glee's Next Step: Lea and Chris Drop Season Four Scoop!

claireabell: I was excited to hear about the new Glee season four guest stars, but I'd much rather know which castmembers are going to return!
We were pleasantly surprised when we learned this, but we're right there with you on your season-four concerns. We recently caught up with the always-charming Matthew Morrison and asked him if he learned anything on their last few days on set. "It was a sad couple of weeks actuallyWe just didn't know who we were going to see next year or not. We don't really know much about what is going to happen next year, so it was really sad. "One thing we do know is that Morrison has his own hopes for a celeb guest spot, "If I had my dream cameo, I think it would be like Harrison Ford. I don't think he sings, but you know." Hmmm...maybe he could play an archaeology professor? Seems like a bit of a stretch.

Scott: Please anything on True Blood's new season!
Anything we tell you would only pale in comparison to the recently released season-five trailer. There are tons of spoilers and a good first look at Christopher Meloni being a badass vampire. "Chris is going to kill on that show. Chris is a magnificent actor. I saw him the other night and he said, 'You haven't lived until you've driven a stake through someone's heart!'" Meloni's former Law & Order: SVU costar Ice T tells us. So yes, Meloni is literally going to kill on True Blood. We. Can't. Wait.

Drew: I need some scoop on Grimm's second season right now! So happy NBC renewed it!
Prepare to for Nick to become even more of a badass when the show returns in August! "I know Nick's going to be honing his Grimm-stincts a little bit and using his fighting skills a lot more," Dave Giuntoli tells us. "We're going to meet the Captain's family and we're going to learn about the world order and stuff like that." Is it August yet?!

Marissa: How will they take Kelly off The Office since Mindy Kaling has her own show on Fox now?
They are going to put her on a plane that crashes on an island, but the island is actually purgatory andwait, never mind. That was something else. We don't think The Office will do anything that drastic, because, as Kaling noted to us, "There's lots of reasons why people leave an office and go somewhere else." A transfer? Quits her job to run for city council? Nobody ever mentions that Kelly has disappeared? The possibilities are endless. The only thing Kaling is sure of is that her send-off (if there is one) will be funny. She also says she can't imagine she won't continue to be involved in NBC's The Office in some way next season, even though her Fox show is a go.

Lewis Jacobs/NBC
Seth: Got anything to share about the Community finale on Thursday?
Are you sitting down? Because we just got a whole load of awesome intel courtesy of Joel McHale. "I'll be wearing leather pants, I am not joking, that were cut for my body. We have like an Ocean's Eleven episode where the dean has been captured and no one knows where he is and we have to go find him because Chang has taken over the school. Giancarlo Esposito is playing Chevy Chase's brother, and we all participate in a video game to win his inheritance back. I'm not joking about any of that. You top that, other television!" Consider the gauntlet thrown, son! (Also, Joel had us at leather pants.)

Eddie: Anything on the new season of Breaking Bad? I just watched every episode so far and I'm obsessed!
You know how The Avengers made a trillion dollars worldwide? Well, it sounds like Breaking Bad is trying to cash in on some of that superhero magic. Kind of. Breaking Bad is currently looking for a new character to guest star in episode six, and they want someone like "Jeremy Renner and his intensity." This new guy is formidable, self-obsessed and someone not to be messed with. Please bring in Hawkeye for this role. Thanks.

This may get WSO Of The Year

When I first saw this I thought for sure that it was being
a bit over hyped but I could not have been more wrong.

This allows you to unlock low competition niches as well
as low competition keywords etc. Not only that but this
comes with a TON of bonuses from James Renouf, Hitesh, and
other internet marketers.

What I like about this software is that this is going to
help those that are easily distracted FOCUS which is key to
having internet marketing success.

Basically here are just some of the ways that you are going
to be able to use this software:

Keyword Research
Find public domain content that you can re-purpose
Find affiliate products to promote
Find low competition niches to enter
And a whole LOT more.

This software was easy for me to install and use, seriously
these guys did a FANTASTIC job on putting this together and
I am really excited to tell you all about it.

So definitely make sure to consider this and if you do
purchase this you are going to know what I mean about how
cool this software is.
