I was talking with Ann Sieg and our 80/20 Marketing Team (we meet
by phone every Tuesday to keep on top of team goals, pressing
deadlines and strategic plans) about how tough it can be to escape
from situations that hold us in their grasp especially as it pertains
to getting a business going.
Do you know how that feels?
Maybe you don't like your job any more. Maybe you'd like to be home
with the family more often, instead of working away extra hours for
little pay. Maybe you're unhappy with your fitness and health levels.
The challenges you face are your own.
Everyone might define that differently. No matter how you define
success, until you get there, you don't always know you're going to
succeed.
Usually, you're trying a hundred things and you don't know which one
will make the difference.
And you don't know who to listen to or who's just a fast-talking
chucklehead whose stuff sounds good in theory.
There's no one trick or tip or magical technique that's going to
take you from being broke (or stuck in a job you can't stand) and
transport you to your own personal definition of fabulous wealth.
And if my hunches are correct, you either know that, or you've
found out the hard way.
Which is why we have something a bit different for you today.
On behalf of Ann Sieg and the entire 80/20 Marketing Team we'd like
to introduce you to Ann Sieg's Leaders' Circle.

My name is Eric Walker. Some of you might know me. Others may
not. I'm Ann's Social Marketing Manager for the 80/20 Marketing team.
Ann asked me to write this quick email inviting you to learn more
about The Leaders' Circle, and what our intention is with it, and
how you will be able to benefit.

Ann has been really busy preparing for our upcoming Live Event
this April in Austin, Texas called The Great Wealth Transfer Conference.
I'm pretty sure you'll be hearing more about that next week.
The Leaders' Circle is a concept we've been speaking with one
another about for quite awhile, and one of the biggest reasons she
brought me onto this great team last August.
She's always thought highly of my ability to facilitate online
communities that develop into virtual hotbeds of talent.
And that's exactly what we're going to do with The Leaders' Circle.

I'm happy to tell you that it's no longer "just an idea." We've made
The Leaders' Circle into a reality.
Ann has written an entire series (with video) that tells you
everything you need to know about The Leaders' Circle at our brand
new blog that launched last week.
So I'm going to stop blathering here and just tell you how it is...
If you want to escape from a situation that has a hold on you, and
you're trying to achieve something remarkable, and you genuinely care
about your online business, The Leaders' Circle is something you want
to learn about as much as you can. Go now.

P.S. This part of Leaders' Circle costs no money. Our intent is to
lead you into action. It's super simple: we want to help you build
your skills. But even an education that's completely free is
expensive in time and effort. That's a good thing, right?

P.S.S. Do you want a "Place" to work out your skills?
If you put a sustained, focused effort in, if you keep trying to do
the thing you want to do (not trying the same thing over and over,
but shifting your approach until you find the one that works), you'll
make it happen. The Leaders' Circle can be that place for you if you
want it to be.

P.S.S.S. My daughter has a growth mindset. She turns 2 this Saturday.
Let me explain. If you've ever watched a baby learn to walk and talk,
you've seen the growth mindset in action.
They get frustrated, sure. But giving up is never an option, not
even for a moment. They're driven by that quest for mastery. No one
fails to learn to walk or talk because we get depressed and think
it's too hard or we aren't "talented" enough.
We want that for you, and that is a metaphor for what we're building
The Leaders' Circle into.

Most of us, as adults, have lost a little bit (or a lot) of that
growth mindset in our thinking. We fail to really work for that
beautiful dream because we're afraid of being disappointed. We protect
ourselves from feeling like losers by opting out of the game, or by
giving it half our effort. We convince ourselves that what we've always
been is the same thing as what we'll always be.
